Capture and Booked
If you’re not available when a customer calls your published business number, Front Desk answers for you. From there, one of two things happens: they either stay on the line or hang up before speaking.
If they stay on the line
Front Desk answers with a real voice and gathers the basics: their name, their address, and what they need help with. Front Desk is trained on your business, so it can answer most questions.
You get an email with the notes from the call. You can review the job, decide whether it is a fit, and call them back when you are ready.
After the call, the customer gets a short text confirming that they reached you. If you use an appointment calendar, that message can include your booking link so they can request a time without having to answer the same questions twice. If they book, Front Desk sends the appointment request to you.
If they hang up before talking
Front Desk sends a short text letting them know their call was received. The message asks for their address and the problem they need help with.
When they reply, the lead is captured. Front Desk sends you an email with their details. You can review them and call them back when you’re ready.
So whether they stay on the line or hang up, Front Desk powers your growth wheel by helping you capture the lead, collect the details, and book more work.
Booked
You already have the name, the address, and the problem. You decide whether the job is a fit. If it is, the customer can put herself on your calendar instead of waiting while you finish the work in front of you.
After the call, she can receive a short text with your booking link. She requests a time. Front Desk sends that request to you. You are not driving across town at 8:06 unless you choose to.
If you do not use a calendar, you call her back from your own phone and set the time the way you already do.
